To get the best results, please follow these steps before your appointment:
Drink plenty of water after your session — this is the most important thing you can do to support your results. Aim for at least 2-3 liters in the 48 hours following your treatment. That's it. No special creams, no downtime, no restrictions. Just hydrate.
These steps protect your investment and let your skin fully reveal its results.
Yes — please do not eat or drink anything (other than water) for 1 hour after your session. Your enamel is in a sensitive state and avoiding food and drink during this window helps lock in your results. After that hour, avoid staining foods (coffee, red wine, dark berries, soy sauce) for 24-48 hours when possible to maximize how long your results last.
Wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little oil on. Most clients wear loose-fitting clothes they can change out of for treatment. You'll change into disposable underwear during the session. Don't worry about your outfit — comfort matters more than aesthetics here.
No — we don't perform body sculpting or plasma rejuvenation sessions during your menstrual cycle. The body is more sensitive, hydration is altered, and lymphatic drainage isn't as effective. Please reschedule if your cycle starts before your appointment — there's no fee for rescheduling for this reason.
No, consultations are not required. Many clients book a treatment directly online and meet Christina at their first appointment. That said, if you'd like to discuss your goals beforehand, consultations are available by appointment — and the $55 consultation fee is fully credited toward your first treatment.
We ask for 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee. We understand emergencies happen — please reach out as soon as possible if your plans change, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
No — all visits are by appointment only. This protects every client's time and ensures Christina can give you her full, undivided attention. You can book online through our Square booking system, or call 732.941.9937 to schedule directly.
Payment is due at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards online. For your convenience, we also offer 0% financing through Affirm — making packages and longer treatment plans easy to manage. If you'd like to pay in cash, please call the studio directly to schedule your appointment — cash bookings can't be made online.
Yes — bundled sessions are priced lower per session than booking individually. The Signature Sculpt Method and Plasma Skin Rejuvenation are interchangeable within packages, so you can mix and match treatments across your sessions. Many clients use this flexibility to address multiple goals over a single package.
The studio is a private, one-on-one space. To keep every appointment calm, focused, and judgement-free, we kindly ask that you come alone — without children or additional guests. We know childcare doesn't always cooperate. If something changes before your appointment, please reach out as soon as you can. We'll do our best to accommodate, and if we can't, we'll happily reschedule you for a time that works.
Yes — gift cards are available for any service or dollar amount. They make wonderful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, postpartum support, or as a thoughtful way to share the experience with friends. Contact the studio directly to purchase one.
Absolutely. Most clients book their next session before leaving the studio. Christina will recommend the ideal cadence based on the treatment plan you've discussed — typically 1-2 weeks between Signature Sculpt sessions, and 2-4 weeks between Plasma Rejuvenation sessions.
It varies by client and goals. Many clients see visible results after a single session — others build a plan over multiple sessions for cumulative, longer-lasting effects. At your appointment, Christina will assess your body and your goals, and recommend the right number of sessions for your specific outcome. Most plans range from 4 to 10 sessions, but some clients only need one or two for specific events.
Results can last anywhere from several months to many years — it depends on the person, the procedure, and how you maintain your lifestyle. Christina recommends a maintenance session once or twice a year for best long-term results, though many clients go much longer between visits. At your appointment, she'll walk you through what to expect for your specific goals and body.
Body sculpting is focused on reshaping and defining the body through targeted contouring — addressing stubborn pockets, smoothing texture, and refining the silhouette. It uses ultrasonic cavitation, radio frequency, and wood therapy as its primary tools.
Lymphatic drainage is primarily a recovery treatment — reducing swelling, improving circulation, and supporting healing (especially after surgery). Christina also incorporates light sculpting work into her drainage sessions for added benefit.
Traditional fibroblast plasma pen treatments use a focused, point-by-point application that creates small carbon dots on the skin's surface — leading to scabbing, visible irritation, and 5-7 days of downtime. Plasma Skin Rejuvenation at Glamorous Grinz uses a different application technique that delivers full-area coverage without creating scabs, peeling, or visible recovery time. Both stimulate collagen — but the experience and downtime are completely different. You can read more in our Plasma vs Fibroblast journal article.
Many clients see visible measurement reduction and skin smoothing after their very first session. The body responds quickly to body sculpting work — particularly when paired with proper hydration. That said, the most dramatic, longest-lasting results come from a series of sessions where the body has time to fully process the work between visits.
No, the work shouldn't be painful. Most clients describe it as warm, deep-pressure body work. The cavitation phase produces a high-frequency sound near the ear (this is normal — it's the technology working). The wood therapy is firm but not painful. If anything ever becomes uncomfortable, just say so — Christina will adjust pressure immediately.
Yes. The combination of radio frequency (which improves skin tightness and tone), wood therapy (which stimulates blood flow and breaks up fibrous bands), and lymphatic drainage works well on cellulite. Most clients see visible improvement after a series of 4-8 sessions. Cellulite is a complex condition and results vary, but consistent treatment delivers consistent improvement for most clients.
No. Body contouring sessions are not performed during pregnancy or active breastfeeding. The treatments stimulate the lymphatic system and release contents that the body needs to process — which is not appropriate during pregnancy or while nursing. We recommend waiting until you've finished breastfeeding before resuming sessions.
Body sculpting is non-invasive — no anesthesia, no incisions, no recovery time. It's ideal for refining areas, addressing stubborn fat pockets, and improving skin texture. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that removes fat directly and produces dramatic results, but requires anesthesia, recovery time, and carries the risks of any surgery. The two work for different goals. Read our full comparison in Body Sculpting vs Liposuction.
